A great opportunity has become available for a suitable candidate to undertake the role in Front Office Reservations. The applicant will be coordinating reservations, maintaining client contacts as well as preparation of quotes and conducting other reception duties. A strong sales focus is required. We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic person with a very hands on attitude. This role will require you to have excellent sales and organisational skills and ability to juggle a number of tasks at once. The candidate must be available to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends, on a rotating roster. Responsibilities will include: Manage the Front Office operations, including sales, telephone, guest care, site walks, catering and conferencing. Client greeting and liaison. Function coordination and management. Maintaining stationary and office supplies. Coordination of couriers and mail. Maintain accurate and efficient information storage filing systems. To be considered for this role you must demonstrate the following. At least 2 years experience in front of house role with a high end hospitality environment. Warm and engaging personality with excellent time management and communication skills. Excellent phone manner and willingness to learn. Weekday, Weeknight and Weekend availability.
